This is just a casual blog/ thing I'm doing just for fun. I have a Devianart account http://theraven-king.deviantart.com/ . I'll be posting art and a links that I find amusing.
Liam O’Brien decided to break all of us and I decided to return the favour…
Update
For everyone who asked:The text on the comic is completely original!
Also: While I’d love to send this in to Fanart of the Week, I am European, which means that I cannot enter (change of laws makes it that only US and Canadian citizens may enter.)
Thank you though, for everyone who thinks that this deserves a win < 3
“His zeal in the cause of freedom was infinitely superior to mine. Mine was as the taper light, his was as the burning sun. Mine was bounded by time. His stretched away to the silent shores of eternity. I could speak for the slave. John Brown could fight for the slave. I could live for the slave. John Brown could die for the slave.”
-Frederick Douglass
People be forgetting this man went to people’s homes and killed them
Slave owners aren’t people
They forfeitted that distinction when they decided to enslave and dehumanize other people to the extent of creating slave husbandry and handbooks on how to best “handle” them
I think that John Brown breaking into people’s homes and killing them was very brave and sexy of him, personally
Feat: Wild Talent (Psi-Boosted Ability: +1d12; ASI: +1 to Int)
Using Point-Buy you can max out Int.
And to actually cast every spell, you’ll need a Mizzium Apparatus. (So, being an Izzet Engineer makes sense.)
So, your Arcana roll (using Guidance) would be 1d20+5+12+1d4+1d4+1d12 with advantage five times and with two Portents.
Minimum roll would be 21
Average would be be 41
Maximum would be 57
So an adjusted average of 40
For reference, a 9th level spell has an Arcana DC of 28 and a 5th level spell has a DC of 20, so, even without Guidance, you can always cast any fifth level spell in the game and you are likely to be able to cast any 9th level spell, assuming you kept good Portents or burning Sorcery Points for Advantage. (No Artificer levels since there are no Artificer only spells in game.) (My
personal recommendations for Sorcerer and Warlock Subclasses are
Clockwork Soul and the Seeker, which fit thematically in this build.)
I’d flavor all of this as “Steward to Fate”, you’re a Divinely Empowered
servant to Fate and Knowledge, knowing everything so you can keep
events working as intended.
(Could also go Wild Magic or reflavor Clockwork Soul and be the Champion
of Magic and simp Mystra.)
If I were to actually play this in Ravnica (or any MtG, Planar, or Planescape game), I’d probably go with this character being an artificial planeswalker created by Guildpact Niv-Mizzet and is connected to all colors of mana.
